MÜHLE R 41 TWIST is an open-comb safety razor for experienced users who want direct blade contact and efficient work on dense or longer beard growth. Its comparatively wide teeth expose lathered stubble clearly to the flat-positioned blade, creating a close, assertive shave that rewards an attentive hand. The longer, fuller handle improves reach and grip compared with the classic R 41, while brilliant chrome plating protects the metal and gives the deeply textured surface a clean shine. The TWIST construction keeps the head connected to the handle and opens it with a turning mechanism, simplifying blade changes without turning the razor into a conventional three-piece model. What does it do?

The open comb channels lather and longer stubble towards the blade with less obstruction than a closed safety bar. The flat blade position and direct geometry can reduce the number of strokes needed on resistant growth when technique is precise.

How to use?

Prepare the beard thoroughly with warm water and a protective shaving cream or soap. Hold the razor at a shallow angle and make short, straight strokes with no added pressure; begin with hair growth and reapply lather before every further pass. Open the head by turning the mechanism at the base of the handle, place the blade by its short unsharpened ends and tighten it evenly. Rinse the open channels frequently and dry the razor after use.
