Spicematic imagines the cool sheen of marble as a fragrance. Inspired by a molecular distillation of incense, Pierre Guillaume gives this aromatic composition a mineral clarity that makes its spices feel sharp and vivid rather than richly sweet.

Saffron, fresh ginger and spearmint form its lively spicy-aromatic accord. Frankincense adds the cold, mineral impression at the centre of the idea, while red cedar and Siberian pine introduce wood and resinous warmth. Musks accompany the composition without turning it into a soft, powdery musk fragrance.

The woods matter because they temper the stone-like coolness rather than conceal it. Spicematic remains dry and clear, with an invigorating edge to its aromatic notes. It offers a different side of incense: less concerned with the comforting density of balsams, and more with the contrast between cool minerals, crisp spices and living wood.

How to use

Apply a small amount of fragrance onto clean, dry skin, such as your neck or wrists. Let it dry without rubbing. Adjust the amount to suit the fragrance’s intensity, your preferences, and your surroundings.
